Wow, science has certainly come a long long way. To have uncovered the code to the Neanderthal DNA from life 35,000 years ago amazes me. This may be able to reveal the cause of their distinction. It makes me curious about life as we know it now..and how medicine may ultimately prevent our extinction or prolong our human race.
Additionally, the baby mammoth that was found perfectly preserved has an educational tv show airing this Wednesday at 9pm by National Geographic..so make sure to set your Tivo's!
